Southwest Bath
RE:generate is currently working in Southwest Bath. Led by Nick Gardham, UK Projects Director, the project is building community capacity and having a significant impact on improving environmental issues, reducing crime and increasing involvment.
To date, over 400 people across the local community have been listened to. Over 20 project ideas have been explored and both young and old are now looking at working together to develop sustainable projects to improve their local area.

RE:generate believes that successful social entrepreneurs are those that have great visions as well as the drive and determination to succeed. SailTrade is a vision and a concept that is designed to give young people opportunities for apprenticeships and the charity the opportunity to sustain itself. SailTrade is first and foremost a business that is designed to tackle some of the most complex problems in Britain today.

The RE:educate School- RE:generate launches new schools concept
DCLG Funding
RE:generate has secured funding from the Department for Communities and Local Government to roll out their Community Animator programme across two additional areas of Bath and North East Somerset.
RE:generate appoints two new Trustees who will be effective from January 1, 2010. Pam Stewart, Chair of Urban Forum and Linda Jack,
The 'Infectious' Academy that was supported by RE:generate and the Community Development Foundation Grass Roots Grants Programme hold another successful show at The Lighthouse in Poole.
RE:generate has built a relationship with leading charity TeachFirst to recruit top graduates and Ambassadors of the TeachFirst programme to deliver RE:generate's work in challenging communities. Nick Gardham, Project Manager, said, 'This is a really exciting relationship that has developed. This work is highly specialised and we are going to work with the best people in this country, the leaders of tomorrow, who will be able to mentor and support Local Authorities, agencies and communties to effect long lasting transformation'.

In a meeting between Lord Alex Carlile QC and Stephen Kearney Lord Carlile reaffirmed his support for the work of RE:generate and was encouraging the RE:generate team to develop strong working relationships with Academies, Universities and Teacher Trainer Providers.
RE:generate to attend Urban Forum Annual Conference with Dr Vince Cable MP.
Dr Anthony Seldon, political author and Master of Wellington College, discusses how we need to build trust in communities to rebuild society. Talking about his latest book "Trust", Anthony says "I support RE:generate's work 100%. Their work is exactly what I am talking about in my book. I am incredibly pleased to have been in touch with them." Read Anthony's views on rebuilding trust in The Independent.
